L’Istitute of Network Cultures nasce ad Amsterdam nel 1994, è un centro di ricerca sui media che si occupa di network cultures attraverso l’organizzazione di eventi, ricerche, pubblicazioni e un dialogo online. L’Istituto promuove diverse sessioni di ricerca e di convegni e in questo momento è attivo un call for paper che ricerca contenuti sul tema dell’urban screen. Dando seguito alle grandi manifestazioni degli anni precedenti come Amsterdam05, Manchester07 e Melbourne08, l’Istituto ora sta prepaparando il Reader che farà da apripista alla manifesatzione di Toronto 2010.
