3D Monumental Projection in Geneva, Switzerland
On May 10-20,2012, the Mapping Festival 2012 took place in Geneva, Switzerland—it’s a place where the VJing and projection mapping enthusiasts of the world gather together to show off their skills. And skills were there as testified by the video here under.
Projected onto the outside of Geneva’s Museum of Art and History was a smorgasbord of stereoscopic 3D mapping from Bordos.ArtWorks and artists Laszlo Zsolt Bordos, Ivo Kovacs, Daniel Szalko, Andras Miklos Balogh. Viewers with a pair of those anaglyph red and cyan 3D glasses were able to enjoy the visuals as the outside of the museum was transformed into a splintering wall of light, deconstructed building components, abstract geometries, and loads more.

Mappe e videoproiezioni, mappare e proiettare su architetture creando performance di live media experience. L’architettura in questo modo ospita lo spazio simbolico dell’immagine audiovisiva e si ibrida con esso. Allo stesso modo il mapping crea connessioni tra spazi reali e virtuali davvero interessanti. Quello che mi incuriosisce di più è la perdita di una definizione rigida e monolitica dei termini “spazio” e “luogo”… oltre allo spettacolo incredibile di visioni live e architetturali
